Security Awareness and Training

Informed users are less likely to commit security incidents that jeopardize an organization’s systems and its data. Security Awareness is a key component of a good security program. An organization should consider role based training for the organization’s technical support personnel. Role based training includes technical courseware, as well as track sessions designed to support the achievement of well recognized certifications within the Information Security Industry (i.e. CISSP, CEH). A customer-focused approach will provide security awareness training and familiarity for newly appointed Information Systems Security Officers (ISSOs), systems owners, and others who are responsible for security within the organization. Training solutions combine multiple media to include instructor-led classroom, e learning via Learning Management Systems (LMS). The LMS provides attendance, scoring, and course completion data.
